Town Board: Adoption of Local Law #3 of 2017 - At its June 15, 2017, meeting, the Ancram Town Board adopted Local Law #3 of 2017 (Land Subdivision Regulations), which updates, repeals, and replaces the entirety of the Town’s existing land subdivision regulations, which were adopted as Local Law #1 of 2015. Local Law #3 ensures consistency with Local Law #2 of 2017 and with the goals of the Town of Ancram Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Law, and NYS Town Law.

Town Board: Adoption of Local #2 of 2017 - At its June 15, 2017, meeting, the Ancram Town Board adopted Local Law #2 of 2017 (Highway Construction Standards), which identifies and consolidates in one document design and construction standards for public and private roads and for driveways and common driveways in the Town of Ancram. This local law repeals and replaces the entirety of the Town’s previously existing highway construction standards and thereby complements and accomplishes goals of the Town Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Law, Subdivision Regulations, and NYS Town Law.

Planning Board: Culvert Replacement Project The Town of Ancram has a requirement for a structural/environmental engineer to design a culvert replacement project. The Town of Ancram is hereby announcing the publication of a Request for Proposals (RFP) # 0001/2015 for the purchase of the aforementioned services.

A copy of the RFP can be obtained by contacting the Town’s RFP Coordinator for this project: Colleen Lutz. The RFP Coordinator can be reached at the following email address: or mailing address: 1416 County Route 7 Ancram, NY 12502 and by phone 518-329-6512 ext. 205. The Town encourages all interested vendors including Women and Minority Owned Business firms to obtain a copy of the RFP and submit a competitive proposal.

Proposals must be submitted to the Town of Ancram located at 1416 County Route 7 Ancram, NY 12502. Proposals must be submitted by 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, on December 5th, 2015, when they will be opened at the aforementioned address. Proposals not received at the Town Hall at the aforementioned address by the aforementioned deadline will not be considered for contract award.
