Accepting Applications: Assessor's Clerk Position Available: The Town of Ancram is seeking to fill the position of Assessor's Clerk. This is a part time job that will require the employee to work 8 to 10 hours a week over two or three half days per week depending on the time of year. Compensation is set by the Town Board annually, and is currently $16 per hour. Previous experience with aspects of town government and assessment matters is a plus, as is the ability to work with the public and use a computer. The job will require data entry and electronic and paper assessment file maintenance. Attendance at training in assessment policies and procedures will be required.
