Town Board: Adoption of Local Law #3 of 2017 - At its June 15, 2017, meeting, the Ancram Town Board adopted Local Law #3 of 2017 (Land Subdivision Regulations), which updates, repeals, and replaces the entirety of the Town’s existing land subdivision regulations, which were adopted as Local Law #1 of 2015. Local Law #3 ensures consistency with Local Law #2 of 2017 and with the goals of the Town of Ancram Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Law, and NYS Town Law.
Town Board: Adoption of Local #2 of 2017 - At its June 15, 2017, meeting, the Ancram Town Board adopted Local Law #2 of 2017 (Highway Construction Standards), which identifies and consolidates in one document design and construction standards for public and private roads and for driveways and common driveways in the Town of Ancram. BOND RESOLUTION DATED MARCH 19, 2015
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF TWO PLOW TRUCKS AND ISSUANCE OF SERIAL BONDS OF THE TOWN OF ANCRAM, COLUMBIA COUNTY, NEW YORK IN AN AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $400,000 PURSUANT TO THE LOCAL FINANCE LAW TO FINANCE THE COST THEREOF, AND DELEGATING CERTAIN POWERS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH TO THE TOWN SUPERVISOR
Objects or purposes: The Bond Resolution authorizes acquisition of two Kenworth trucks with dump body plow and wing for highway maintenance purposes, at an estimated maximum cost of $400,000. The aforesaid purpose constitutes a Type II action as defined under the State Environmental Quality Review Regulations, 6 NYCRR Part 617, which has been determined under SEQRA not to have a significant impact on the environment.
Period of Probable Usefulness: Fifteen (15) years pursuant to subdivision 28 of paragraph a of Section 11.00 of the Local Finance Law. The obligations authorized by the Bond Resolution will not mature in excess of five years from the original date of issuance of such obligations.
Maximum Amount of Obligations to be issued: The Town Board plans to finance the total cost of said purpose by the issuance of serial bonds of the Town in an amount not to exceed $400,000, authorized to be issued therefor pursuant to the Local Finance Law.
Delegation: The power to authorize bond anticipation notes in anticipation of the issuance of the serial bonds authorized by this resolution, determine the form and terms of said serial bonds, and take certain other actions is delegated to the Town Supervisor, as Chief Fiscal Officer.
